WA Chemical Solutions (WACS) has been established through the University of Western Australia. WACS is committed to undertaking quality, innovative research and is developing chemical technologies based on sustainability (Green Chemistry) metrics.

WACS uses a 'benign by design' strategy, and can deliver compounds to the market place in high purity, and at a lower cost than is possible by using traditional methods (which have high waste generation and low atom-efficiency).

WACS provides new chemical synthesis methodologies based on the principles of green chemistry, in particular avoiding waste production and the use of toxic volatile solvents in our chemical processes.
